James focuses his practice on criminal defense and civil litigation, advising clients in matters related to subpoena and regulatory compliance, torts, attorney ethics, employment, civil rights, and other complex litigation matters.

Prior to attending law school, James worked on the successful campaigns for Members of Congress, Mayors, and State Legislators in New Jersey and around the country.

In law school, James interned at the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender and the Defender Association of Philadelphia. He also served as a member of his law school’s Criminal Defense Clinic.

Prior to joining Klingeman Cerimele, James served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Candido Rodriguez, Jr., J.S.C. New Jersey Superior Court, Union County.
